Coaching Clinics
Why are Defining HorseManShip
Clinics different?
We concentrate on horsemanship and
horse handling to help you define your horsemanship.
We work from the horse's agenda, meaning that the horse will let us know
where our communication can use improvement, both on the ground and under
saddle.
We work in small groups so you and your horse get more personal attention.
Both Karen and Jim are available throughout the clinic to assist you
individually and in small groups.
We focus on you, your horse, and what you can do to improve your horsemanship.
During our observation of the horse, the rider, and the relationship between
them, we come up with creative ideas, offer exercises and interject techniques
for you to try to help your horse and to increase your awareness.
This occurs as we see opportunities in the moment, as they arise...naturally.
Through experience with us, riders
become aware of what they are doing in the moment, why they get the results they
get, and how to make the changes they want.
We teach by way of FEEL...Facilitated

Clinics
One Day Clinics are designed to get you introduced to many of
our helpful and creative exercises and training concepts, scratching the
surface of what is possible with your horse.
One Day Clinics begin with a brief evaluation of your goals, equipment
and horsemanship concerns and conclude with plans for follow-up through
programs that we offer, such as
Casual Coaching Days, or Weekender and 5 Day
Ranch Retreats, Trail Rides and other
special events. Groups are small...up to 8. |

help you get results through experience in the "here and now" |
Multiple Day Clinics
allow for more expanded time for things to sink in, work on your group's
focus, adding more time for follow-up, a chance to make the strides
you've always wanted in working with your horse but couldn't do in just
one day...
maybe include a trail ride for applying principles to purpose!
Clinics at your Facility
Host a Defining HorseManShip Clinic at your location,
offering one day or multiple days.
~Available for Follow-up Clinics, bi-monthly or semi-annually. |
Rates:
Rates vary according to location, length and type
of clinic.
And...for some clinics we offer "special rates"
(Your organization, riding group or association may be eligible to receive
a percent of clinic fees back to the group!)
